Later this year, the enormous warehouse retailer Costco Wholesale will finally open a facility in Central Texas. In March, Kyle will open the first Costco wholesale.
Kyle locals will soon expect free food samples, bulk food discounts, and of course, the renowned $1.50 hot dog combo.
According to the Costco website, the first Costco Wholesale will open in Kyle in March.
There are four Costco Wholesale locations in each of San Antonio and Austin, with the one in south Austin being the closest to Kyle.
The new Costco will be situated on the northwest corner of Kohler's Crossing and Interstate 35.
According to the application, the new 160,533 square foot facility cost $15.1 million to construct.
The construction was scheduled to start on January 21, 2022, and it was expected to be finished on October 7, 2022.
Members will be able to fill up their tanks at the gas station facilities on-site in addition to buying in bulk within the store.
24 gas pump positions with a 19' 9" canopy that coordinates with the main warehouse's colour design will be available.
According to a TDLR file, the 11,655 square foot fueling station will contain a computerised controller that will regulate fuelling payments, gas pumping, and monitoring devices.
