Almost all of the products that Costco sells are returnable. There are, however, a few exceptions.
Before attempting to return some items to your neighbourhood Costco, you might want to check this list again.
Made-to-Order Purchases. Purchase birthday cakes with a personalised message written in the frosting from the picture centre.
Electronics. Electronics can be returned to Costco for a refund, but only if you do it within the allotted 90 days.
Cellphones. Your choice of cellular carrier will affect the retailer's return policy.
Major appliances The return policy for big appliances at Costco is the same as the policy for electronics, including ranges, dishwashers, and water heaters.
Diamonds. You will receive a complete refund from Costco after the company confirms the diamond is authentic.
Alcohol and tobacco use. Where it is prohibited by law, Costco has a policy of refusing to accept returns of tobacco and alcoholic beverages.
Batteries, tyres, and other products have a finite lifespan. They will deteriorate with time. As a result, Costco won't guarantee that they will take back your two-year-old tyres.
