The women's national basketball team set a new score record for the FIBA Women's World Cup.
Throughout the group stage of the 2022 World Cup in Sydney, Australia, mark in a blowout of South Korea.
The previous record high of 143 points, established by Brazil in 1990 versus Malaysia, was shattered by Team USA's 145-69 victory.
Team USA's previous record was 119 points, which they attained in matches against China and Angola back in 2006 and 2014, respectively.
The USA's World Cup performance did not rank among the top four highest scorers.
